Here's What's Up:

“Little Boy” Movie — You Gotta See This!

Little Boy is a movie about faith, hope, and trust. Jacob Salvati stars as Pepper, a 7 year-old boy from the 1940s whose father has to go to war. Pepper must learn how to attain faith that will move mountains — rather, a faith that will bring his father home. I don’t know about you, but I love movies that are inspiring and will leave you feeling encouraged. As you can see from the hundreds of positive reviews on Rotten Tomatoes – a groundbreaking 89% positive vote – people are loving this!

This is not a faith-based film, though, so don’t label it that and get all judge-y! it was directed by none other than the award-winning director and screenwriter Alejandro Monteverde. (You may have seen Bella, which is also his project.) If you are/were a fan of Wizards of Waverly Place, you’ll recognize the talented David Henrie! Emily Watson also stars, and she is an incredible actress. I tell ya – you gotta check this movie out. Jakob Salvati was 7 when this movie was filmed, and he is a rockstar!

But don’t just take my word for it, check out these reviews:

And here is David Henrie himself, talking about why he thinks YOU will relate to the film:

  1. Great story. Whole family loved it. They dealt with faith in a reasonable way. They pulled heartstrings without being saccharine. The critics are just so dead-set on hating any movie that deals with faith, especially the Christian faith. This film soft-pedals that faith – but it definitely is a strong element.
